St. Francis Area Schools welcomes Dax Larson as the new Communications Supervisor. He began his role with the district on April 15.
As the Communications Supervisor, Larson will oversee operations in the areas of communications, website maintenance, social media, and publications while serving on district leadership teams.
Before arriving at SFAS, Larson was a Communications Specialist at Anoka-Hennepin School District since 2021. Prior to Anoka-Hennepin, Larson worked in communications for 14 years within college athletic departments at Colorado State University Pueblo, Bemidji State University and Minnesota State University, Mankato.
The Bloomington, Minn. native earned a degree in mass communications with an emphasis in public relations and a minor in speech communications from MSU in 2007. He earned a master’s degree in sport management from Minnesota State in 2009.
Larson and his wife, Callie, have three beautiful daughters.
