For all SFHS students who signed up to take the PSAT this Tuesday, Oct. 17th in the E Wing from 7:45 AM- 12PM. Students who are typically in A Lunch during this time will be reporting to B Lunch after the test is finished. Bells will be turned off during this time as well.

Nearly 500 students were granted temporary eligibility for Educational Benefits for the 2023-24 school year. That temporary eligibility is set to expire October 16 (Monday).
If you previously qualified, or would like to apply now, please go to https://stfrancis.strataapps.com to complete the Application for Educational Benefits as soon as possible.
These benefits help families secure reduced athletic, activity and preschool fees. The school district could also receive additional money for students, schools and essential education programs through these completed applications.

Congratulations to the St. Francis Debate Team that competed Saturday. At Rosemount the teams of Lor & Hendricks (Novice A) and Anderson & Humphrey (Varsity) won awards with 2-1 records.
Winning speaker awards in Novice A were Janice Tiah, Ava Refsland, and Sydney Borchert. JV speaker awards were earned by Abigail Kingston, Skyler Algiere, and Kylie (Pheno) Zender.
At Coon Rapids, Teagan Harmon was 5th place.
Next up for the Saints is a tournament at the University of Minnesota.

St. Francis High School celebrated homecoming with the election of a Homecoming King and Queen on Friday, Sept. 22. Congratulations to Destiny Kromah who was crowned 2023 Homecoming Queen and Riley Brennhofer was crowned 2023 Homecoming King.
During the homecoming football game, 1953 King and Queen, Ray Colline and Barb Munson, were also in attendance for the celebration.

Join us this Friday, Sept. 22 at 5 pm in the Carlson/Foley Performing Arts Center as we induct the 2023 St. Francis High School Athletics/Activities Hall of Fame class. This year's honorees are 3 SFHS graduates and the 1980 State Tournament Softball Team.
Maggie Ewen - 2013 grad, Barrett Golyer - 1994 grad, and Bruce Gleason - 1976 grad, will join the 1980 Softball Team in the HOF. Since 2009, thirty-six individuals and four first time State Tournament teams have been inducted.


Our first 90-minute late start of the school year is tomorrow, Sept. 20. This is an opportunity for our staff to conduct professional development.
Please note that buses will be running pickup schedules 90 minutes later than normal pickup as well.
