The St. Francis Area Schools School Board welcomed three new members and elected officer positions at their first meeting of 2025, which was held Monday, Jan. 6.
School Board member Rob Schoenrock, who was re-elected for his third term, was joined by newly-elected Jake Humphrey (second term on the board, 2019-2023), Andrea Anson and Chad Working for the ceremonial oath of office. Additionally, current members Nathan Burr and Annette West joined new members in re-affirming their oaths, while member Jill Anderson read the oath. Members of the SFAS School Board serve four-year terms.
In addition to the oaths, the first meeting in January serves as an organizational meeting where the board selects officers. The School Board chose Burr to serve as chair, West as vice-chair, Anson to serve as clerk and Working to serve as treasurer.
The meeting agenda also included routine organizational actions to prepare for the year to come. The board approved a schedule of meetings through Jan. 6, 2026. Regular meetings and work sessions of the SFAS School Board are held at the District Office.
